long story short, I have installed win7 32-bit on my GFs laptop (m9700). Everything seems OK so far but I am having issues with the graphics drivers.

After installing them, the built-in display no longer works. External displays work fine. The only way to get the onboard display working is to boot into safe mode and remove the go 7900GS drivers so that win7 uses 'standard vga'

being that its associated w/ the vid drivers i have tried 4 diff sources with the same results:

    1. from NVidia website
    2. from Windows update
3/4. two diff versions from laptopvideo2go.

Anyone else out there experience the same problem?

to be honest im not sure how to wipe them completely...

I go to device manager, select the device and choose uninstall and select 'remove driver' (or similar option). The only issue here is that after reboot windows tries to auto install using the old driver so i end up navigating to the inf folder and pulling out the one that is referenced.
