it seems that my M17x wireless connection only works after i reboot, not after a cold start. Everytime i turn on the laptop, i have to reboot it for the wireless to work.

it was working fine, but either the coprocessor drivers from nvidia or a win7 update made this happen.

Ive reinstalled the driver a few times (the one from dell, Broadcom_multi-device_A00_R219005

    Any suggestions?

didnt help. one thing i did notice is that it does connect to my wireless router, then it drops connection and says it cant connect and cant find my wireless in the connections, while others (neighbors) are listed.

Sounds like the card is getting interference to me.

Some wifi chips are better than others when it comes to managing neighboring routers/traffic.
