    i think microsoft works is a free program.
    If not, use open office... actually, use open office anyway...

    yeah i have MS office anyway. im downloading the youcam software from alienware. one more question. what about all the user pics and wallpapers than where already in the windows wallper section, it was so nice. now all i can get are random loose ones from aw's site.

    also it says i need a serial number for youcam where do i get that? do i have to call tech support for it?

    You will need to call Alienware support for the key. Doesn't Alienware provide the discs for the bundled software?

    Actually, the serial number for youcam is in your "my hive" section at AW's support site. Also, as mentioned above, you should have all of this software on the CD's that came with your system.

    In your Hive, go to "SYSTEM PERSONALIZATION" and there is a link that will all the AW wallpapers and it will install your ALienFX the way you ordered from the factory.
