There's more than that...but I've got to say, finally! That issue would not have been an issue if Apple allowed this right away.

Is there a listing of all the things Apple might fix in 10.5.2? I haven't (yet) encountered any problems with 10.5.1, but that may be because I haven't yet explored every nook and cranny.
-
oh wow! I think every major issue people have brought up may have now been fixed, all the options people were wanting, network Time Machine disk, time machine in the menu bar.
the list goes on and on, hurry up and release it! -
By all accounts, 10.5.2 is gonna be HUGE. There are so many fixes included that right now it is tipping the scale at over 400MB. I saw a list somewhere yesterday or the day before of the fixes and it was very long.
They are allowing a network disk for Time Machine? That would be great if true! This is the first I heard of it.
**EDIT** Just read the story and let me say, thank god! I hope this means that my disk will actually stay connected through sleep without using a workaround. -
it sounds like they will be addressing so many things with this, it sounds like it should fix a lot of issues for a lot of people.

Wow, is this a new trend with Mac OSX? Leopard has only been out for a few months now and already 2 major updates are available for it... On the bright side at least they are offering the updates (service packs) much faster than Windows...
-
im sure the updates will slow down once they run out of stuff to fix.
has so in the past. Lots of updates in first 6months, then 4-6months in between updates.
good strategy, fix what needs fixed when it needs fixed, and have nothing left
-
It woulda been nice to have the list view in the stacks, but because leopard didnt have it, I learnt to use spotlight to open all my apps.
Made life a lot easier, and I dont have to scroll through all my apps to open a program.
Although hopefully itll fix some hardware problems me, and other people have been having. -
when will this 10.5.2 come out? I am anxious to get it. I want the time machine to support network so that I won't plug in my external hard drive in each time.
-
Well Tiger was on the market for 2 and half years and they are at 10.4.11. 11 updates in about 30 months averages to an update about every three months. So consider that 10.5.1 was a given in the first month or so to patch things between gold master and release and this update is pretty much in keeping with Tiger's frequency.

I've heard that Stacks will now have the option of having a list view.

Well, if you ask me, Leopard was caught in a bad time...everyone's attention was on the iPhone, so they had to make sure they got that done on time as well as it being as great as they said it would be. So Leopard was delayed already, and delaying it any further would not be great, especially with Apple poking at Microsoft for delaying Vista so much
.
The good thing is Apple is listening to others' opinions, and finally allowing more customization. -
I'm wondering, too.

According to latest reports, it could be this Friday

I wonder how 10.5.2 would affect the last security update (2007-009 1.1) I installed it on my iMac and had a world of troubles (ended up doing an erase and install and did not download that update because my system just would not run right). Ironically, I installed it on my MBP and had no issues (so far). Should 10.5.2 include that update if I hadnt already installed it?
-
Anybody got a date on when this is gonna be out? Like early feb or somethin?
-
That's the same thing that I heard from all the rumour mills.
10.5.2 Improvements....finally?
