    Avoid the update if possible.

    It slows down the boot time. I used to be able to boot in 15 second fully, now it takes 22-23 seconds.

    Nah, It looks like they added something that tells you what the actual speed of your drive is. Most people don't realize that a mechanical notebook drive will not use all of what sata 1.5 offers.

    I had no performance difference after the update to 10.6.3

    It used to take about 20 seconds to boot fully, and now it takes about 45 seconds after the update.. sigh.. oh wells..

    Same here. Nothing seems broken and performance appears to be the same, it's all good.

    I see little difference between 10.6.2 and 10.6.3. Seems safe to me.

    I would not recommend not downloading the updates. There may be security fixes and patches in it.

    I'm having sudden Quick-Look issues with video files be it .mov, .avi, .mkv.

    Sometimes it just takes an awful long time for it to "quick"-look it or it doesn't load at all...

    Hmm...

    I haven't seen a lot about issues.. any more so than can be accounted for by users no knowing what they are doing, or rare issues cropping up that are being contributed to it that might not be part of it.
