Looking to jump over to a macbook and use Final Cut. Is it worth the extra $$$ to the 2.4ghz & 256MB video? Just seems like too big a price diff to justify...

I believe if you look in the Apple forum, you should be able to find benchmarks comparing the two and the performance increase to 2.4ghz and 256MB video is not that great(around 10%.) It's up to you if that is worth the money to you. Final Cut should run smoothly on the 2.2ghz and 128MB video card.

A regular macbook will handle Final Cut Express and Final Cut Pro just fine. If you want the dedicated graphics, then the 128MB card is more then sufficient.

FCP and photoshop don't benefit all that much...
