I'm looking for a sleeve to put my MBP into that will fit in a leather brief case. I basically want a little bit extra protection for the notebook for when I put the bag down too hard b/c it doesn't have a padded compartment for the computer. Any suggestions?

I don't need a hard layer around the computer but more of a soft sleeve for a bit more protection when in my brief case. Thanks though.

    ^ I second that case.

It's been great ever since I bought it.

I just picked up the incase sleeve from Bestbuy (same price as apple) and it's great. You can put it in any bag or backpack, has a very slim profile yet feels like it adds some protection - I don't think its protection is heavy duty though. I'm happy with it so far. Fits the MBP perfectly, but nothing else.

the incase sleeve is ok as its quite thin...but i found that i had a lot of movement with with it when my MBP was inside. If you wouldnt mind a thicker one...i highly recommend the sleevecase by waterfield designs. www.sfbags.com

best sleeve ive tried, lots of options, and its the PERFECT fit.

I vouch for incase as well.

I actually find that the ones that are manufactured for the macbooks fit perfectly...

Just keep the foam block that's included with the case.
