I usually buy the 15" MBP, but, I'm straight over the 1440x900 resolution. I curse apple for not making 1680x1050 available on the 15".
To that end, I'm thinking about picking up a 17" MBP with the optional 1920x1200 LED screen.
I can usually sell the 15" MBP with ease and get close to what I want for it. For some reason, I feel that the 17" would be harder to sell and I would "lose" more money on it compard to the 15" model.
Is this true? Does the 17" take a slightly harder depreciation and is maybe a little bit harder to sell used?

I think the 17" would be harder to sell because there is a smaller market for laptops that size.

To be honest when I check both laptops the 2" difference is nothing with the MBP not like other laptops.

From what I've noticed on ebay.. the 17" mbp with the hi res (I've sold the SR model last year easily for very close the price that I paid for lost $100 on it) sells very easily.

You must be kidding. It's huge by comparison to the 15.4". And yes, I had both side by side when I did a review of the 17". I guess opinion really is something!
17" MBP resale value?
