This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    No, most likely not, because I got a nice ASUS 1080P 21.5 inch for my birthday this year, so when this thing starts to bleed I might look into it.

    30" is back in stock at my local apple store...it still must be a HOT item because they are often out of it...and amazon was listing just 2 left for a while...someone is buying it. going up there again this weekend...I think it's 30" ACD time!

    I connected my old 2001FP 20.1 4:3 monitor to my macbook...I was using it as an extended desktop. When I clicked to "mirror" the display was distorted because its a 4:3 monitor...I'm assuming an apple cinema would mirror without any issues at all and fill the whole screen etc.

    I don't know what you'd call it...but I want the cinema to act as a primary monitor...not as a monitor I "drag" stuff onto...but as the primary.

    yes,use it as primary and macbook's as secondary that you drag stuff into...
