Sorta relating to this forum as theres a section on "portables" plus this forum is one of the best for Apple related discusions, (even though it is a laptop forum)

So im thinking of going and getting my AMCT.
In total it would cost be £400 for training and exams. And it would give me
"Mac OS X v10.5 Troubleshooting" and "Apple Macintosh Service" as well as a Apple Help Desk certification too (though the 3rd is bundled with the AMCT, but i only have to do 2 exams the Troubleshooting and Service).

However in my line of work apparently we already have a gsx.apple account which has all the training on it. So if i get permission/access to that then it would be only £200 for the exams.

    Any thoughts/suggestions?

My company has a GSX account too. I would get as many certifications as you can get your hands on. Exams in the US are $150 a piece. Its $50 to take a re-certification exam.
