    Hello,
I just wanted to know on which operating system a game will performance the best, I'm talking about the game who has a version for windows and mac os.
As I plan to use my macbook with bootcamp (mac os and windows 7), I was wondering If I should play on mac os or windows for a game who can support the 2 system, for example modern warfare, civilization 4 etc...

Games will almost always be faster on Windows, but it depends on the game - if the game in question will run smoothly at max settings on both OS, it won't matter.

If you're talking about the i7 15" MW2 will run just fine on OS X. There's wrappers out there to be downloaded...

A crossplatform game will usually perform better on Windows. Since majority of gamers use windows, the games are more optimized on that platform. Also, some effects in the games will only be available in Windows version of the game due to the lack of Direct X support in mac.

typically games only work better in Windows because the game maker did a very poor job of making a Mac version...

if the Mac version is made properly, it will run great... but usually you can get it running around 90% as good as it would on Windows on the same machine... which is pretty good since you wont have to reboot and lose access to all your Mac software just to play a game.

Well, once Steam for the Mac is out Valve's games will be able to be used on both OS, at least.
