Adobe CS4 Acrobat permits a user to "crop" a page(s).

My question is this. Is the section of the PDF removed during a crop, completely removed from the file once saved, or is it possible to reconstitute the removed section. I guess it comes down to this, is the edit deleting the data, or just hiding it from view?

I want to crop a price list for a customer, removing my costs from the document. I'd hate to see that a savvy user could "un-crop" the document.

as far as I know.. a crop actually cuts it off and re-saves it, it doesn't just zoom in the view of the file.... so unless you have the original, the data shouldn't be in the file.

If you want to make sure its how you want it to be... you can also do this. Crop it how you want it, then just go Print the document, and save it as a PDF, and it'll print exactly what you see to a new PDF file... then you'd know for sure.
