I'm considering a MacBook Pro for college as soon as Apple completes the upgrade to the Merom chipset, and I was wondering how to keep the price out of the stratosphere. I've heard that Apple overcharges on RAM, and I was looking around and found these:

Given their review and price, I think these would be a good upgrade-does anyone have any tips for me if I were to go through with adding memory?

Yea, I have some tips: make sure that the RAM fits your computer before you buy it. Seriously.
The MBP (and most other newnotebooks) run on DDR2 667 memory. Yours is DDR 400. not going to fit.

That memory is for a desktop, not a notebook. If you would like to see what RAM is compatible in a MBP go to crucial.com and check out their compatibility charts.
