Damn insomnia or not ? I wake up so early and could not fall asleep again. So I am wandering across different forums. :D

As everybody has faced with a Macbook Air, I am a little unsatisfied with the deficiencies out of perfections as a Apple product. Such as the Macbook Air . I do need more different kinds of interfaces on it for the convenience of dealing with my video/audio job although I show understanding towards its design concept slim and portable. I wonder if I can make up my deficiencies of my new MBA ..? I have bought the two items as the following which help me a lot with the prominent performance. (Some ideas related listed also)

    1. USB 3.0 Hub 4 Ports with 5V 4A Power Adapter
Actually I am just looking for another hub with more ports and better with charging ports.

    2. USB3.0 3 ports HUB with 1 RJ45 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet LAN Wired Network Adapter
For this kind of product, I don't need another because I've gotten a free Apple one and I think two similar product is enough.

What I most care about is : Are there other special designed gadgets of different kinds which could meet my needs more exactly ? Fortunately, my boss has permitted enough budget. So FEEL FREE to recommend your wish.

You should look at thunderbolt docks. Belkin has one for $300 that offers three USB 3.0 ports (that would mean 5 total USB 3.0 ports without decreasing bandwidth, something a USB 3.0 hub would do), analog audio in and out, thunderbolt/mini displayport out (so you can daisy chain the dock or hook it up to an external monitor), Firewire 800, and an ethernet connection. That would be your best bet as thunderbolt won't decrease the bandwidth of your USB 3.0 devices (not really). Although USB 3.0 has half the theoretical bandwidth of thunderbolt, most USB 3.0 devices operate at half that (or less). Using the thunderbolt dock would really be no different than plugging them directly into your Mac.

I had saved my money up for one of these before upgrading my mid-2011 13" MBA to a 2012 15" MBP. It seems like a viable option though, last time I checked, some people were having driver issues under Mountain Lion. I haven't researched it after the release of Mavericks since I don't need it anymore.

Yeah, I agree with your saying about the thunderbolt performance. But I won't choose the one you recommended because I don't want to buy some item with the same function such as USB ports or Ethernet connection. I do need some fresh idea.
