Hey guys? I just saw this youtube video. Its about someone who laser etches her MacBook Pro with advertisements from various companies to pay for the expenses. Is this possible? How do you ask the companies/do it?

It's probably as possible as claiming one of those "You've won a free Macbook, Click Here" banner ads.
-
Really? Then I'd better warn those people who posted comments on that video. I mean, it could be possible/couldn't be possible, but I'll trust you becuase of your rank/experience.

Seems a little fishy if you ask me. Plus she can just buy a new case for it from apple.

SaferSephiroth The calamity from within
If you are that desperate for money, maybe you shouldn't be looking to buy a MBP?

Its certainly possible, but probably not the best idea. I mean, its the same thing as those people who auction off their forehead or belly on eBay to advertisers...

Just noticed the guy who made digg got his notebook laser engraved as well. With the digg sign.

Wait Sahin, I'm confused by your wording when you said
That is what I was thinking she could of just got a Macbook, if she needed performance she should have bought a Lenovo T61P.
If so, than is the MacBook Pro an enternainment laptop, and not a performance-wise laptop? -
No I was just saying a really cheap alternative to a MBP is a T61P, if she wanted OSX then she could get a macbook. If she wanted both then tough luck. -
No this is legit. She is actually one of the founders of Pownce, and has appeared on TWiT at least once. Not sure if she could afford the MBP or if it was just an experiment, but it did work. This is actually rather old.
