I've had my 13" Macbook Air for about a week now and use it both for Windows 7 and OSX Lion. A great combo, and I love the performance, battery life, and industrial design on this notebook.
One major thorn in my side is that the CTRL key is not on the corner of the keyboard; rather, this is where the "fn" key resides. Using SharpKeys, I was able to remap the "Alt" key with no trouble.
But, I am unable to remap the "fn" key to be the CTRL key, as it does not function like other keys. Before I commit this new layout to muscle memory, has anyone been able to remap the "fn" key in Windows? If so, how!
TLDR Version:
How do you remap the "fn" key in Windows?

this is a really good question. I would also like to know as CTRL is used in most of the games i play and having function were it is, is really annoying.

Hey, I wanted to do the same for the eject key; to remap it as a "delete" key. There's this one program, but I forgot what it was called... anyway I tried it and couldn't figure out how to use it so I just uninstalled it.

I'd be interested if anyone could create a Mac specific tutorial using these instructions:
Mystery of the Fn key - A guide to remapping the Fn key in Windows -
Bump.
If anyone can figure out how to:
- Swap left Ctrl and Fn
- Change Eject to Del
- Swap left Option (Alt) and Command (Windows key)
...and write up a nice step-by-step, I will seriously buy you a six-pack. I know it sounds silly, but the keyboard was one of main reasons I couldn't get used to my MBP15 (running Win7 90% of the time), and had to take it back. -
Anybody?
