Hey guys! I'm new here and hope everybody have a good day.I actually have a problem, the material our academic adviser gave us are all in pdf format, but I have to convert them to PPT for printing and editing. I have tried to save the pdf file as picture and then put them in PPT file, but it didn't work out quite well because the format of each page didn't change! So here I am trying to find some help, do u have any good idea? Thanks in advance for reading my post![]()

why can't you just edit and print the PDF?
regardless, one easy solution is to use google docs. Upload the document (make sure google docs converts it to the google docs format).
Edit it and print. Done. -

Probably because the good PDF editors, such as Acrobat Pro, are not free. Google Docs would be a nice solution. There are other alternatives but it looks like they cost money. Also, if you have an iPad, there are apps (again, not free but they cost only a few dollars) that will allow you to write annotations on top of PDF files. You can then sync those annotated PDF files to a Dropbox account or copy them off of the iPad through iTunes so that you can later print them.
I think you can add annotations in Acrobat Reader X but I am not 100% sure on that one (do they even make that program for OS X?). I haven't really followed Adobe's incessant Reader updates since I don't have it on my Mac as OS X's built-in Preview program works just fine. You can add annotations in Preview too. -

I thought maybe preview could edit PDF files. Didn't even think about it, as editing PDF files isn't part of my workflow. Go with google docs.

Preview can do some edits but it isn't anything great, mainly just annotations. That might be enough for the OP, I don't know. My only issue with Google Docs (which is a great free service) is that you have to constantly be connected to the Internet. That shouldn't be much of an issue but there are times (mainly on my iPad or when I take my MBA to work) when I would like to be able to edit documents through Google Docs and be able to save those changes so that when I go online, the changes are automatically synced over. That type of functionality might exist, I don't know.
Any advice to convert PDF to PPT?
