I am a student looking into purchasing into purchasing a MacBook Pro next year for University.

I heard that the ADC (Apple Developer Connection) Student membership costing $99, supposedly comes with 1 ADC Hardware Discount (one-time only), valued at 10%. I also heard from another source that this was actually 20%.

Does anyone have any experience with this and can help me out with the exact cost of the MBP after this discount.
I am specifically looking for this price of it after the discount in Canada, but other countries prices, especially US, would also be much appreciated.

I also heard that there is a lot of info faxing involved in order to get the ADC student membership, which includes sending in my I.D and course schedule. However, since I will be a 1st year student and will not be able to receive a course schedule later on in the year, what other documents will they accept for verification of my university enrollment.

    Thank you.
