Recently I have a slow connection, thanks to my new, useless ISP. I have not been able to complete any download so far. Do you guys know any good download tool/accelerator? Freeware, preferably. I have tried Speed Download but it requires registration fee. Thanks alot!

I couldn't find any free ones either. I wonder if all the free browsers don't have them or have add ons for a download manager.

Opera does not have a formal download manager but I find it "pre-fetches" while you figure out where to save/rename file. Also has a neat feature to resume broken dl and restart if needed.
