I am considering downloading this, but have two questions I can't find an answer to on their site. I sent an email, but so far no response. One is, if I use it can I still synch to a PC without problems. The other is whether it permits me to keep individual names private as the Palm software does generally.

You might also try asking around on some Mac specific forums (macnn forum, macrumors forums) and Palm specific forums - more likely to find people who use the Missing Sync software and might have experience with both issues.
As a general question, why do you think using Missing Sync on OS X would cause any problems with syncing with a PC? Missing Sync is designed to operate like any other syncing software, and it doesn't do anything like change the data format or synching method on the Palm itself, so it shouldn't have any impact at all on synching with other machines. -
Thanks for the feedback Zadillo. I guess my worry is based on ignorance. I don't really know what I am getting myself into, so was curious.

Totally understandable, and it's always a good idea to do research before investing in a product (or in this case, even using a product, since you never know what the side effects might be).
I just noticed that there seem to be pretty active forums at markspace:

I think the quickest way to find out the answers to your questions would probably be to register and post there, as almost undoubtedly someone there will know the answer. -
I use Missing Sync with WM5, so I can't really answer your question about keeping names private. It should, but I can't say for sure. As for syncing between that and then a PC, it will allow it, but when you sync from multiple computers things can get hairy. That would be the case if you had 2 Windows machines as well. But if you do the settings right, i.e. never delete appointments, it should work.

Thanks for the tip Zadillo, I will check it out.
Any markspace missing sync users out there?
