I don't know why but I like the Mighty Mouse. I recently purchased the Bluetooth. I guess I enjoy the BT, trackball, and weight. It is a tad too stripped down (could really use forward/back buttons) and the side button seems to need a lot of pressure to activate. But overall I do seem to enjoy using it.
How about you?

I personally do not like Mac "mice." There is just something about their shape that I can't ever seem to get used to. This mouse especially.
-
Since getting my Unibody Mac I haven't use my BT Mighty Mouse at all.......but I still don't mind using it for when a trackpad won't do.
-
masterchef341 The guy from The Notebook
nope. sure don't.
-
I bought a mighty mouse a couple of years ago and hated it. The little scroll ball felt weird for some reason. After 4 months of usage it got erratic and eventually quit working.
I went back to the classic imac mouse. -
I hate the trackball, it's too small for me to use. And the squeeze buttons are a stupid idea in my opinion.
-
I love the customizable settings, mainly the "Hot Corners" (productivity jumped by 200% I swear)
But anyways, next up:
Bluetooth 2.1
Touch Sensitive Shell
Endless Gestures/Touches
Improved Battery Life
Rechargeable With iPod Cable?
OH MY GOD!!!
Anybody up for modding a MacBook in the next year so you can just set your iPhone/iPod/Device on the MacBooks palmrest or top lid when its closed so it wirelessly charges?!?!?! -
-
This one, I loved as a kid
Apple's version of Mighty Mouse is the suck though. I replaced the keyboard and mouse on my iMac, but now use them when I have my MBP on my mStand. I'm looking for another wireless mouse, as I've kind of gotten used to the keyboard now. -
I don't really have anything for the Mighty Mouse, or Apple mice in general. I stick to Logitech
.

The mighty mouse is teh suck. It is barely passable. The scroll wheel is cheap and feels like garbage. Mice from other companies like Logitech and Razer feel and work much better IMHO.
-
Nope, the mighty mouse is the WORST mouse I've ever used.
-
Can you play games like call of duty 4 with it? Does the trackball work well when scrolling through weapons? I used it at the local apple retailer and i must say, i prefer my food old microsoft mouse. it has been pretty reliable all these years!!

The mighty mouse is the best mouse that Apple has ever released, but...
I've replaced every Apple mouse I've ever had with something useful since 1997. My 9 year old Kensington mouse still does the trick for me. Next to it is a Logitech that I use on my PC.
The mighty mouse that came with my Mac Pro sat in it's original packaging for 10 months before it was ever used. -
You think Apple would redesign it already. Again, I don't mind it but it can do much much better.
-
i like the mighty mouse!
i find no big problem with the shape. it is better than most mice on the market.
i had few annoyance prevent me from using the mouse
after a while, the scroll ball becomes clogged making it inaccurate. requiring a clean.
that and the little annoyance of right click.
and i wish they would include teflon feet. -
I regret buying mine few days ago...
-
-
I have nothing against the mighty mouse, but I prefer the other shape.
-
i bought it, i returned it in few days
what i like:
it includes lithium AA
it works 1 or 2 AA
scroll is the best next to finger scroll browsing
bluetooth
what i don't like
slow
low res
odd shape
hideous 2nd button
even more hideous forward/backward buttons, it is difficult to press
white = yellow in long term use
it has some goods, but the bads are pretty much what i want them to be good on -
I can't think of a single reason beyond looks to buy a wireless Mighty Mouse. The mouse sucks.
-
The only saving grace of the Might Mouse for me is the ball. Although, having only used it for short periods, I am sure that ball would get to be a pain. Side-scrolling when you want to vertical scroll.
Other than that. It is way overpriced, not very durable (scrollball), poorly shaped, and I am sure many other problems after using it for a time. Mainly, for the price, it is not a good alternative. -
most of the time this is not a problem, you rarely use right click anyway, and you do get used to it in a way, but its an anoyance nonetheless.. -
But what I also dont like about the mighty mouse is the battery life. I gotta get a new one like every 3-4 weeks. I'm gonna go for one of those logitech mice next time. It guarantees like 6 months of battery..
By the way does bluetooth 2.1 improve like bluetooth response? Like if I were to use it on the new macbook pro - will my MM wireless work better (precision wise) -
You mean right click which comes with almost every mouse.
Jokes aside, I have a few friends who love the mighty mouse and dont stop singing praises about it but for me, its a bit too flat and i could never get used to the whole mouse coming down when I click.
Anyone actually like the Mighty Mouse?
