Just curious because my new mac pro desktop using istat pro is showing 68c and 62c for the psu 1 and psu 2.

I'm curious as why its so high yet the machine feels cool to touch.

    Anyone else with similar readings?

I wouldn't worry about it. 60s is still "low" for a computer component.

Also when it wakes from sleep the psu 1 is up at 81c.. but it comes back down in 3-4 minutes... but how can the power supply's temp go up when its asleep usually when the machine is dead cold?

Also comparing to other mac pro owners.. their psu temperatures are constantly at the 44c-48c.. Maybe I have a different psu?
