This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    If my friend buys the apple care, can he send me the info over email or phone so I can register it or should I ask him to ship it to me? I live in another country so it would be expensive...

    You only need the code and then you can register it online. Phone or email will do (if you trust him which i assume you do).

    The AppleCare box comes with TechTool by Micromat for repair and system diagnostics. And a user's guide, etc.
