I moved to Ireland not too long ago and the agency that I work at purchased a new keyboard for my Mac. I'm kind of disappointed with it because of the key layout. Although the Apple website (including Ireland and UK) show the layout with the larger, rectangular "return" key, the keyboard that I received has a small upside down "L" shaped key. I called Apple and it seems that the bigger, rectangular key is only available in the US and they can't do anything about it.
It's not the end of the world and I'll probably keep the keyboard since the other one was too old and the keys would stick but I think that it's really sloppy of Apple to not take the time to display the product that they're selling properly on their website and to not be able to replace my purchase![]()

Which keyboard to you have?
This one?
or
This one?
Can you post a photo of yours (if different)? -
Neither. It looks like this one with the little girl's return key.. lol

Hm, it looks different from the North American model Apple Keyboard. The one I see around the stores are the ones that r0k posted.

Sure enough, I took a look at apple.com/uk and they show the US keyboard photos and there is no mention that the version you will receive is any different than what is shown online. This sounds like an opportunity to ask for Apple customer relations to intervene (the supervisor's supervisor).

Seems like Apple Ireland doesn't even really have a customer relations department.. you have to write to it. I called Apple UK and got the same answer.. they're unable to ship me a North American keyboard. The only thing they can do is refund my money. My work bought the keyboard because I needed a new one (keys were sticking in my old one) so I guess I'll just keep it.
What really annoys me is not so much the layout but that Apple is either so sloppy that they can't provide the right photos in their website or that they think their customers won't notice or don't care.
