    this laptop is for sale on craigslist and i was wondering if it was worth it to buy for 650. Also are there any tips for inspecting a used apple laptop to make sure its working properly

    What kinds of tasks are you going to do with the notebook(you might want to fill out the FAQ so that we can help you better)?

    And you may want to verify it since it might be a scam( Avoiding scams and fraud)...

    Also, I edited your post to reflect that you are interested in a laptop on craigslist(your way was suggesting it was a 'for sale' thread)

    Yea that price is extremely low. It's either a scam or someone who has no-idea what they're doing.

    At least with Craigslist you should be able to meet the person selling the machine and ask to do a complete inspection before handing over your money.

    it is a scam.
    There are other scam like a macbook for 380.
    Usually when you found such a post, you can google "the tile craigslist", you will find that author post quite a lot on the craigslist.
