The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hey I think we at the apple forums should have an Apple Member of the Month, and if the forums can give them like a gold name or text saying their Apple Forums Member of the Month or something, I have seen it at other forums and it would be really cool. What do you guys think?

    The only problem I see is the limited number of active users. If more people want it, I will talk to the powers that be. I think it is a good idea, and may spur more involvement from our fellow Apple owners.

    Thats something you'd probably have to bring up to Abaxter, but the idea has merit, but I feel that abaxter will think that the reputation system does a similar job.

    well I see the Reputation system is doing well but, I mean I think it will bring more apple people here and then people won't post stupid things and try to make quality post to help people out. It wouldn't be any value prize just a title under their name or something would be nice/

    I must say NBR Apple forums were highly valuable to me as a source of information when I chose to buy a Macbook. It is a nice site, reviews are mostly unbiased and I see a lot of respect in the forums, even from users with sometimes highly different opinions. Way to go.

    Well I ment more Quality post. But without the Apple forums at NBR I wouldn't have a macbook at this moment, or even think about buying one.
