    Mac site says they'll be right back, their updating, I wonder if they'll be releasing something new, or is this usual? Some people were saying a few days ago about sept 9th being a big day for Apple.

    The Apple Online Store goes down everytime there is an Apple keynote (as there was today), they re-launch it after the keynote!

    Talk about shooting yourself in the foot right? I read that Apple lost 10% of it's market value this week only.

    And microsoft targeting in on apple with their new ads and apple offering nothing new for the consumers nor the back to school students, well to say that I feel really disappointed is an understatement.

    Apple loses market value when it announces its most successful quarter in the history of the corporation :p. Because it downplayed expectations for the next quarter. So yeah, market value rises and falls too easily.

    I don't know how well Microsoft can target Apple though, it seems all this time, Microsoft believes in the theory of "not mentioning your enemy, or you'll give them more attention". And I do believe Microsoft needs to repair its own image before taking down its competitor's (if only politicians learned that).

    MS went with Seinfeld, poor choice IMO, they should be aiming for the younger generation and got Hanna Montana, haha

    Sam is the most knowledgeable person about Apple products that i know! BTW i think they are announcing the new Macs in either September or October for sure.

    I just keep up with news and try to be helpful! Unfortunately, I don't have any inside Apple sources nor do I work for Apple (or do I...), I just keep an eye on rumour sites and make my own predictions in terms of what's most likely, what's not likely to happen, based on what I've seen in the past!
