Hello,
Here's the problem, I took my MBP with me for a looong trip (22 hours of flight), I took it always with me in my backpack, anyway, when I arrived at the hotel, it started to make a real loud noise, it was the left fan... So ok, I took it to the applestore here in Mexico (after my trip), and they told me that they would check it and then call me for telling me if it was necessary to change a piece...
But they din't call me, and now... I went yesterday to see what was the problem, and they told me that they did ask for a new fan from the USA, and that would take from 8 to 10 days to arrive... But I don't have that time, I'm leaving Mexico in 3 days... So I told them to cancel that because I couln't wait that long... but now it seems that they want to charge me for that fan and they were like mad... I mean that wasn't my fault, they did never call me... So my question is... do I have to pay them something for that?
Thanks and sorry for the long story![]()

Shouldn't they be able to just cancel the order? I don't know of too many repair shops that don't have a good enough rep with their suppliers to return orders.
They might be madder that they are losing your business... -
You shouldn't have to be paying for anything especially since they didn't call you. Do they still have your computer? Did you have to leave a credit card? If your answer is no to either of these questions, I wouldn't worry too much.
