I was almost gonna buy the macbook online, but when I was in futureshop, some one told me that the apple warranty costs $50-100 for shipping and mailing. Is this true?
-
That's outrageous! I don't know how much the shipping and stuff is, but $50 for that is certainly way too high. I think that's wrong, or else I'd hear complaints about it a lot more.
On Apple's Canada Store, AppleCare for the MacBook is $299 with free shipping.

Awesome thanks!

Does the MB/MBP have global warranty included??
-
AppleCare for a MacBook provides global coverage.

I think you pay extra for it -
No, you do get international shipping from the moment you buy it. Apple Care extends the period.
-
The Apple Limited Warranty that comes with all Macs is a one-year worldwide warranty. Purchasing the AppleCare Protection Plan extends the same warranty plan for two more years, to make a total of three years (one year is already covered by the Limited Warranty).

Wow,the MBP is looking sweeter now...I'm going to be in Europe for one year, so having a global warranty is very important to me.
