Ok i bought an iphone in late febuary and today the mute button fell off. Apple replaced it with a NEW iphone today. Does my 1 year warrenty start all over or from the date i got the first iphone? Also my first iphone was a refurbished and was bought in december 2008 if that date matters.

Gawd, I wish my warranties started over when something went wrong to warrant service. :)

What if you paid with a Visa Credit Card? What if you paid with a Visa Debit/Check Card?

I'm not sure what you're saying, but the warranty should only be from the purchase of the FIRST iPhone. ;) I don't think the Credit/Debit card would affect the warranty status. ;)

Certain products have their warranties automatically extended when you use certain credit cards.

I see what you're saying. I've had that happen before on some other electronics, but I'm pretty sure that Apple doesn't do this. :p ;)

Why was this thread moved? Its about an iPhone warrenty not a mac warrenty. So my warrenty starts when I got my iPhone refurbished in febuary pr when it was first bought In December?
