Ok, so I get the coveted shipment email from Apple for my MBP yesterday. Happy as I was, I figured it would arrive by the 10th, as was mentioned in the email.

This morning when I checked on the tracking status on FedEx's website, it showed 2 line items with the same tracking number. Clicking on the first one said that the shipment had already arrived, and the second one says that its still in China.

Should I be worried? I sent FedEx an email about it but they have yet to reply back on it.

Edit: I wished Apple used UPS for the delivery. UPS's tracking system gives more information.

You seem to be one of the unlucky people that's got FedEx shipping your MB. In my opinion, anyone who's got something shipped via FedEx should be worried. However, I would recommend you call an Apple representative to enquire about the problem. If you have ordered over the phone (which I personally recommend), call up your sales rep.

In a stunning and bold move, FedEx delivered my MBP this morning. Just as I was about to head to work. Unfortunately, i didn't have time to even open the box yet.

    I'm extatic!

Don't let them touch it though, dbam ;). Tell them to wash their hands three times with soap first :D. Congrats on your new MBP, by the way. :)

Have I told you the two coveted links yet? :D Just kidding :p.

That got me worried at first. But then I was doing a bit of research last night about FedEx's shipping and it calmed me down a bit. They do need to give faster updates to their online tracking system... in the case of when they receive a package to deliver after their cut-off point for the day. They did an exceptional job in getting it from China to the United States in a shockingly fast amount of time. Kudos points go to FedEx, and to Apple as well.

Can't wait to fire it up tonight.

You should have seen my RAM order using FedEx. It was shipped from California on August 4 and it just arrived in Pennsylvania today, August 9. I didnt realize it took 5 days to ship from CA to PA. Oh, the beauty of FedEx...First time I actually had a problem like that from them also.
