    Alright. An introduction to me. I am a Windows fanboy. I despise OS X and Apple in general (Except there laptops, ever since the Aluminums came out I have been drooling). My brother, an Apple fanboy, just purchased his 1.3k Aluminum Macbook. I played around with it a lot today and I must admit, it is a beautiful machine! The design is so nice!

    I was in the market for a new laptop for some time. I kind of overlooked the Macbook because of "Apple Tax" and you really get screwed over spec wise. But the build quality makes it worth it. There are two things that are holding me back from buying on though.

    Screen: The vertical viewing angles are ATROCIOUS! Everything looks so washed and and I have to constantly adjust the screen.

    Keyboard: Apple could have put a backlit keyboard in this thing... What does it cost them, 2 bucks? It seems they want to just milk money for me and make me pay 300 bucks more for a backlit keyboard. (And .4ghz, but that isn't even worth 200 bucks alone.)

    So, the only Mac that is right for me is the MBP. Better screen, better keyboard, better everything. I really wish Apple didn't taint these beautiful MB's with such horrible screens. /rant

    I feel your pain, I went the same way and then special ordered so it cost me even more. It shipped pretty quickly and is currently on a layover in Alaska. :D
