Wired.com has an article talking about how Apple lawyers basically said that people should not believe their ads and those people that do are dumb. This was in response to a lawsuit where Apple misleadingly said in an ad that their iPhone 3G was "twice as fast for half the price."
If you have not drank the Apple Kool-aid already, this should come as no surprise. Apple is being deceptive and not telling the truth in their ads? Oh really?!!!![]()

lol Apple.

Well its pretty much commonsense nowadays to never believe what marketing says regardless of company or product.
-
Old news...
-
Not to mention, all anyone had to do is look at the specs of 3g vs Edge and you can clearly tell it's not twice as fast...
-
Actually in that same video - the one where that guy was lying through his teeth about the macbook pro - non of the laptop featured had any glare or reflection in a bright white room.
You noticed how they always use very bright white room in all their ads? As if to say theyare god and it really works a lot of old people trust apples and they just keep on buying them till they die.
All their videos are symbolic to heaven and white room. -

i complained about the fact that they shouldn't be able to say that in their ad when it came out...
twice as fast = marginally faster.
half the price = marginally MORE expensive...

I was upset when I upgraded my Iphone from gen 1 to the 3G. It was about the same speed on the network and the specs were practically the same. Last Apple product I buy.
