    Im contemplating buying applecare off one of the bigger ebay sellers. My question is whether applecare is the same for all countries. Since my Macbook pro will be purchased in australia but the applecare will come from an US seller.

    It doesn't matter where you buy Applecare. I live in the UK and i bought Applecare from Canada and the US before on Ebay and there was no problem with it.

    I see. What about all these sellers saying they will only email you the code. Is there anything physical int he pack that i need to keep in order to get support?

    There is a tech tools CD in the pack but i think you can download that from the Apple website if you put in your code.
    You don't really need anything else i always requested to be sent on the box though as when it comes to sell your computer in the future i thought it was a good thing to have.
