Hi eveyone, I was wondering where and how everybody gets applications on Mac OS X Leopard. I see that quite a few people have applications such as quicksilver, twitter, ClamXav, etc.. I was wondering where you get them if they are not on the Apple Download site. Thanks!!![]()

Usually the best way is to just Google them! Quicksilver, ClamXaV will appear right at the top of the searh in Google, and such! Alternatively, I've linked to quite a lot of the common applications in the Mac Switcher's Guide.

Thanks so much Sam!! Also one more question. Is there a list somewhere of the different categories of applications? Ex: Twitter (Messaging). Any ideas?

I personally haven't seen a list generated anywhere, but if you're looking for a specific program for Mac, the forum's always a good place to ask. A lot of people here use programs just for those kinds of needs.
