I have the 15" Macbook Pro 2.66 with the 512mb graphics and I was wondering if there are programs out there that I can adjust the battery options more? All I can really do is go from Performance to Better Battery Life (I assume it disables the graphics?).

    Thanks!

also any must have apps would be great for my new macbook pro. (I have xupport already)

A program worth looking into (in my opinion, at least) is Coolbook. It will allow undervolting on OSX which will bring two direct benefits to you: a cooler running laptop and more battery life to it.
Undervolting basically adjusts the current being used to power the CPU (in this case) and lower it to the minimum (not all CPUs have the same minimum, so companies usually overvolt them all to a level where they can be sure of they will run correctly). More information can be found in the Undervolting Guide.
I'm sure there are a lot of optimising apps out there... and you're probably asking the right crowd here!
    Hope it helps! :)

Undervolting Guide: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=235824. This should work if you choose to undervolt in Bootcamp also.

i never got coolbook to work.... on mine it just reported back 10º less in temp, but it was just a report of that lying to me, not really less, as other temp programs like istat and smcfancontrol both reported 10º hotter than coolbook..... coolbook made no difference in temp or battery life for me... but i felt jipped like it was some rip off just trying to fool me by subtracting 10 from my temps... hopefully it was just a bug and not the intention.
