The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hi, is there any way under Safari or Firefox to archive entire websites? There's a couple sites I'd like to save to my hard drive to view offline at a later date.

    Firefox is brainstorming about this capability - stay tune. Don't know about Safari.

    I'm pretty sure you could cache a website, and go in the System to recover it later. I'll read up on this and get back to you on it. ;)

    Thanks everyone. :) I just found out about the ScrapBook plugin, and I've tried it but it's dreadfully slow, and I'm not sure if it's making a complete backup or not. I'll keep playing around with it though.
