Should I let the battery do a full discharge before plugging it in?
Does it damage the battery plugging it in at like 30% remaining?

You can top up the battery whenever you like.
However, once a month you should calibrate the battery by doing the following...
1. Charge the battery until its full, then leave plugged in for a further at least 2 hours.
2. Remove from charger and use system as normal.
3. Let the battery completely drain, until the laptop switches itself off.
4. Leave in the 'dead state' for at least 5 hours.
5. Charge the battery until full. Then use as normal.
Do he above once a month to calibrate the battery, and you should be fine to top up whenever you wish in between calibrations. -
Nope, not needed with today's batteries since they are now designed to not suffer from battery memory. Apple does though recommend draining the battery completely once a month or so. See here and here for more info.
Nope. You can plug it in at any remaining charge. To actually keep your battery humming, keep using it normally. Don't leave it charging for weeks on end. -
Thanks guys, answered both my questions.
