I charged my battery for awhile and its just been stuck on finishing charge... for like 20 minutes now. The charge light is still orange. Could this be my second messed up macbook in 2 weeks? Starting to regret switching to Mac..

Unplug the MacBook and let the battery run down to about 90%, then plug it back in and just ignore it. It should head right to 100%! It should be perfectly fine, I don't even look at the charge levels when I'm plugged in :p, I just keep doing my tasks!

Lith-ion batteries seem to take a while with that last remaining 1 or 2%. :p
    I wouldn't worry about it. :)

When my MBP is dangerously close to running out of juice, it warns me that it has dipped in to reserve battery power. My guess is that OSX reserves 5% of the charge to use for sleep mode or hibernation. So, when it reads 100% and still says it's charging, it really means it's filling up the "hidden" 5% of battery power. That is all a pure guess however... :p

Edit: As Sam and talin29 say, I wouldn't worry about it at all.

No problem, Mfrey89! :) Any concerns or problems, don't be afraid to ask! Considering what an investment notebooks are these days, you have every right to be concerned!
