    I want to purchase dell U3415W for my rmbp 13". Will it be able to rune thw display at 60hz via display port? Can i use two of that? Any suggestion?

    According to Anandtech, only the 15-inch model is capable of running a 4K display at 60 Hz.

    the 3415 is a 1440 display and will work on all the MacBook Pro's. however running two of them could be an issue especially if you want both to display a decent refresh rate.

    now small caveat, I personally have never tried a 21x9 screen on OSX and a few of my colleagues in other companies say it wont work right as of yet as it is a different aspect ratio that seems the OS does not recognize at this time.

    as for best external monitor ... best for what use? many screens are good at a few things but yet bad at others.
