Looking for a MacBook A1181 logic board, does anyone know where one can be bought for relatively cheap? If I have to spend over $300, its not really worth trying to fix, the cost to fix might be more then its worth.

Yeah I thought eBay first too, but did a quick search for "MacBook logic board" and it looks like you are gonna need to spend a minimum of $200 and change for a new logic board. Many of them seem to include a CPU too though, which you probably don't one as you should be able to use the same CPU that is in your broken logic board.

Just out of curiosity, are the new MacBooks the same way?

to my knowledge Apple hasn't made a socketed CPU in a long time for a laptop, it helps lessen the space needed.... just cant make something that compact and good without cutting every few millimeters you can.

I think I'll probably just part it out, unless I can score a awesome deal on eBay it will cost more to fix then the MacBook is worth..

That's the way most laptop boards are because there's only one supplier. Perhasp if you can find a damaged MacBook with a good board, but I'm guessing those will be north of $200 as well.
