Is there any program that i can double click and open the picture, and just click next to show the next picture in the folder?
I find this to be one of the main things i miss from windows, cause i hate having to add everything to iPhoto. So is there any program for this?
The windows equivalent would be the Windows picture and fax viewer

I'm not a Mac owner, but I've worked with them enough to remember a preview feature that would let you do that.
-
Yea use preview.
Select all the pictures, and open them in prewview. You can just use the arrows, or use fullscreen.
Also you can use coverflow to view the pictures within finder. -
Or you can do
CMD + A (to select everything)
then
CMD + O (to open all pics)
then view them like in windows by goin up/down -
isnt there a simpler way? or software? its kind of annoying having to select everything
wow, bad idea, i had folders and videos in my folder and it opened everything, lol.. like a bazillion windows just popped out
Found a free software and its great, much better interface than preview.

When I said that I assumed that the folder with the pics only had pics. But im gonna take a look at that program you got too.
-
Just use Quicklook. Select something and press the space bar. You can then use the up and down arrow keys to navigate.
-
I just tried that program and i gotta say it really sucks. its way to slow to view pics
-
i usually just change view to list mode and then quicklook all the way down.
-
Same here.

yeah that works well. but only if you use a folder view other then icons. with icons you need to navigate in 2d. If you press right you get the next picture in the row and later you need to press down and go left. Quicklook is annoying for me because I always use icon view

I use preview to do this.
Better way to browse pictures folder?
