Black Macbook $899 vs. New Macbook $1199

just a few things to note:

synthetic benchmarks are not always worthless. i admit that they usually are, but in this case i haven't thought about it long enough. often, its the "best you can do" anyway, in a practical sense. how else are you going to compare two monitors without synthetically benchmarking them? take screenshots? lol. take pictures of the monitors? please.

anyway. i've been to the apple store. i've seen all the new monitors. the macbook screens are good. better than before. they are not as good as the pro monitors. probably just 1st revision quirkiness.

also- sarumon tends to get pretty upset with everyone on these boards and pick apart everything that everyone says. just get used to it i guess. take it with a grain of salt. or maybe two grains. i think he keeps buying apple products and continues to have buyers remorse. im pretty sure that for about a year he was continually bashing apple and continually buying upgraded macbooks...
