I am looking for a bluetooth wireless mouse to use with my macbook pro. I am getting a bit confused though, all of the laser mice I have looked at in PC World say that they are wireless and operate on the 2.4GHz frequency. Is this Bluetooth?

I really want bluetooth because I want to use the built in bluetooth capabilities of my mb pro rather than sacrifice a usb port for my mouse.......

Nope you will need one that says bluetooth. There aren't many out there. MS makes one or two, logitech has a smallish notebook bluetooth mouse, and then there is always the apple mighty mouse.

I had this for a while, but I was getting lots of dropped connection, requiring to wait ~5 seconds to get the connection back. Maybe it was because I got a refurb unit, don't know.
I then got this and I couldn't be happier! (but is wireless, requiring the usb dongle).
Anyways, Logitech's V270 and V470 models are bluetooth, while VX and V450 are wireless.

Yeah I just got one of these. It does feel a bit small, I guess it just takes a bit of getting used to.

    Thanks for all the replies.

I personally have the Razer Pro|Click Mobile. Great little mouse. Kinda expensive though for $70...

yeah i was concerned about the size when i got it too, but don't worry dude, you'll get used to it quicky. it's actually very comfortable, and it'll work fine on almost any surface you put it on, which is pretty amazing.
