Sorry if this has been posted... I can't find the search for the forums for the life of me. I've been battling with my mouse and MBP for hours so I'm just gonna post and hope someone can help.
I have a Logitech MX1000 BT mouse that works on Mac OS but won't work with Windows XP. Every time I add it to my bluetooth devices without a passkey, when I hit OK it'll delete itself from the Devices list. Or when I leave the window open and re-add it, it'll say new device (usually it should say already connected) which leads me to believe it never installs itself? It'll stay in the list if I use passkey 0000 but won't work at all and doesn't say Connected under "Passkey enabled".
I'm hoping someone can help or redirect me to somewhere that could help. Thanks!

I think you need to install the bluetooth drivers in Windows XP. If you already did, try uninstalling them and just using the mouse as a plug n play. It does have a plug n play feature correct?

Uninstalled the Apple Built-in Bluetooth and Scanned for hardware changes to reinstall... it just does the same thing. The mouse can't plug n play because it's a bluetooth mouse o_o

I mean it should have a feature, like the Logitech G5 if you just plug it in it has a pre set configuration and it still works without the setpoint drivers/software. It should be the same with a bluetooth mouse.

No luck with the SetPoint drivers. I don't know how I could plug in the mouse? I only bought the mouse (via eBay) and bought a charging dock separately (it's for the non-BT version of the mouse).

Is the charging dock USB? If so, try to connect the mouse without the dock plugged in.
