Tried installing XP Home on a new Imac and am running into difficulties.

I can run the BC assistant within OSX, which then restarts the machine and begins the XP install process. I pick the bootcamp partition and windows starts to configure some bits and bobs. The problems begins during the first restart, all that happens is that the imac reboots and begins the windows install process again from the beggining.

I'm stuck in an endless loop a the moment and can't find a work around. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? I'm using a genuine XP Home SP2 disc.

If I eject the disc during this cycle I can get back into OSX with no problems.

Any help would be much appreciated.
