Finally got Vista installed with Boot Camp. Everything runs great, except the machine seems to perpetually think it is on battery. It actually isn't, but the energy settings are all weird because of it and I can't run the Vista performance rating.

The ACPI drivers are installed. Did I miss something?

I think it's Boot Camp. My vista partition thinks it's always plugged in.

Just unplug and replug the magsafe cord. It'll refresh it.

Already tried that, in addition to a full Boot Camp Assistant reinstall. It's the weirdest thing.

What does the Windows Mobility Center say? Is it set to balanced?

Mine does the same thing, I've just gotten used to doing what taelrak does and unplug, wait about 5 seconds and plug it back in.

My battery meter shows that it's on mains if I unplug the cord and stick it back in.
