Can I have both installed on my machine? Can I use the same Windows XP installation for both?

Yes. Parallels can read the partition created by Boot Camp and start it right up.

Yes, Parallels and VMware Fusion can use the Windows partition that you create in Boot Camp to run Windows.
Am I the only one that finds these Boot Camp vs. Parallels, Parallels vs. VMware thread titles overused?Like this thread for example, it doesn't really have anything to do with choosing Boot Camp over Paralllels or asking about differences between them. The original poster, rogkm, was just asking a question related to Boot Camp and Parallels.

I'm relates to Parallel and VM Ware... i like vmware than parallel... well so far... it seems easier to use and a lot faster than parallel...

I think, though, that this is VMWare's first attempt at creating a virtualization application on the Mac.
