Hi,
I just installed windows 7 x64 on my 13 mbp 2010 and I cant connect to wifi. Also I can't use the Ethernet connection as well. I have bootcamp 3.1 installed.
I dont know whats wrong with it.

got it to work. I just rolled the driver back and it worked xD

Naix, when you say you rolled the driver back, which driver?
I am curious, when you install win 7 64 does the Windows installation discover the drivers it needs or does it select them from some bootcamp area? Sorry, I may be off here but when I installed win7 on my old dell xps m1710 it discovered all the drivers, I can say it worked out of the box. Is that the case when you install win 7 on the bootcamp partition?
Thanks -
No, Windows doesn't install all the drivers, most, but not all. You havre to use your OS X DVD to install the rest.

is there any way to turn of wifi on bootcamp w/ windows 7
-
START--> Right click computer --> Properties --> look on the left side and click Device Manager.
Go down to Network adapters and select the wireless card/hardware, right click = disable.
That should work. -
That MIGHT work (I don't know if that powers hardware down or not), but that's not how you'd usually do it in Windows. Hopefully Apple's provided a toggle of some sort to turn it on or off. Like on my Asus there's a button I can press (and a keyboard shortcut too)-Apple may have provided something similar that's in the control panel or system tray or something that powers it off and on, the equivalent of picking that option from the menu in OS X.
(You can also manually disable connections in "Network Connections", but I'm not sure if that powers the hardware down either, and isn't how you'd normally do it.)
Apple should just provide a software toggle that works instantly and is the equivalent of how you do it in OS X. -
Whoops, forgot that the toggle should also be in Windows Mobility Center.
