    I am wanting to by a laptop off ebay AUS and wondering if you can tell by the serial number if it is stolen or not?

    Just want to make sure for warranty purposes and so i don't get in trouble with the law!

    Any help will be good

    Only if the owner has reported the laptop stolen to Apple, could you check.

    Also, MB or MBP? I got a MB going on ebay tonight.
